Waikato BOP Cross Country

Hillcrest High School had 12 students running at the WaiBop SS Cross Country held at Kihikihi Domain on the 5th June.

All the students ran well with Annie Downing winning the Junior Girls event in a fast time of 11 minutes 48 seconds for the 3000m course.

Cooper Heslop managed a top 10 finish in a very fast Year 9 boys race, Cooper’s time was 11 minutes 22 seconds for the 3000m course.

Our Junior boys team of Kwadwo Adeji Baah, Liam Bosch and Michael Horn took out third place in the 3 person teams event.

The other Team members who all performed to their best were:

Year 9 Girls Olive Levis, Emily Shorten and Rosyapple Halford-Cope.

Junior Girls Emma Hills and Harlow Adams.

Senior Girls  Mursal Hussaini.

Senior Boys  Saber Khawrin.
